Editor’s comments Although the study lacks research evidence based on randomized controlled trials there is in fact little good evidence for any standard intervention for treating fractures of the mid clavicle. The authors present a simple and cheap method of support that can be reapplied by parents.

Summary

Mid-clavicle fracture is one of the most common fractures in children. A support to immobilize clavicle fracture in children is described, and clinical experience in 34 patients is presented. The course of treatment went without complication, with good acceptance by the child and their parents.
